| | To commemorate Japan's acceptance of the terms of the Potsdam Declaration on 15 August, let us observe the Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day) with a different approach rather than celebrating the Allies' victory--let us:
(1) in memory to everyone who gave their life to the cause of Freedom, be it Chinese, British, Americans, Australians, Canadians, etc. Without their sacrifice, we won't enjoy a happy life our parents and grandparents are enjoying, (2) a special mention to innocent Japanese soldiers who were needlessly died under the influence a distorted worldview, an ideology that spreads tyranny and hatred (3) let us collect oral accounts of confessed Japanese vets, either on your own or providing support to those who are working on it. (4) Last but not least, let us join our hand to advocate for a formal apology from and a comprehensive financial compensation to war victims wholly sponsored and managed by the current Japanese Government.
